DSPANZ provided a submission to the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes) Bill Submission on 29 September.
The proposed amendments outlined in the bill, will require DSPs to make changes to their software. In this submission, we strongly recommend the government consults with DSPs to ensure the practical implementation of these changes.
The views we have put forward are:
- Defining the operational steps required for implementing the amendments in software
- Exploring the technical feasibility of executing these change
- Ensuring a sufficient timeframe for DSPs to make necessary adjustments and educate employers
