DSPANZ, originally the Australian Business Software Industry Association (ABSIA), was established to provide a collective voice for software developers and digital service providers working closely with the Australian Taxation Office.

Originally an offshoot of the ATO's Software Developers Forum, the initial focus was supporting developers with a range of ATO initiatives including Standard Business Reporting (SBR), Single Touch Payroll, SuperStream and the co-design of Australian specific e-invoicing standards with the Digital Business Council.

A proud track record of working with our members and government

As an organisation, we have played a central role in the development of many key digital initiatives in Australia and New Zealand including:

  • Single Touch Payroll
  • ELS to SBR
  • SuperStream
  • Digital Service Provider (DSP) Operational Framework
  • Peppol e-invoicing
  • Security Standard for Add-on Marketplaces
  • ANZ Industry Practice Statements
