The ABSIA Board and staff gathered in Melbourne for our annual strategy day on Monday 3 February 2020.

President Chris Howard officially opened the day by introducing and welcoming new Board Member Brad Stockman to the team.
This day provided the board and staff with the opportunity to discuss current industry happenings and prepare for the year ahead. Discussions throughout the day enabled us to review and update our mission and strategy for 2020.
More specifically, ABSIA aims to:
- Re-align our current special interest groups to better reflect the current state of the industry
- Implement more face-to-face events for members
- Provide more opportunities for members and work more closely to represent their best interests
- Work closer with other associations in the digital space on common issues
Keep an eye out for more opportunities and events through our social media and e-news. ABSIA welcomes any feedback on the above and are interested in hearing from members about what is important to them over the next 12 months so we can actively work on these issues.
