Welcome to our first newsletter as DSPANZ! You may have noticed this week that ABSIA has rebranded to Digital Service Providers
Australia New Zealand (DSPANZ). Our new name and branding is public acknowledgment of the
increasingly central role our organisation
plays in supporting software developers, and the broad opportunities for our members to make an impact across the digital economy.
Everyone that attended webinars across Webinar Week will have now received links to access the recordings and materials. The
recordings can be accessed indefinitely while access to the materials will end on Friday 30 April. After this date,
they will only be available to members.
April ANZ Service Provider Community Meeting
We've recently aligned our monthly e-invoicing meetings with the Global OpenPeppol structure, and they are now called the ANZ Service
Provider Community meetings. These are open meetings focusing on updates from OpenPeppol and an opportunity to discuss the state of ANZ
Peppol e-invoicing. For this month's meeting Stu Ross (MBIE) and Perry Liolios (ATO) will be joining us to talk
about adoption and answer
your questions for the first 10 minutes and for the remainder of the meeting, we will be discussing the May and November release processes,
having a demo of the new test bed and an update on the Business Payments Coalition proof of concept among other issues.
If you are interested in attending the meeting on Wednesday 28 April at 4pm AEST, please
STP Phase 2
The recording from the ATO's STP Phase 2 livestream is
now available here.
This recording may be a useful resource for you to utilise when communicating to your clients about STP Phase 2 at this point in time.
The ATO has also released the Child Support position paper for the Single Touch
Payroll Payevnt 2020 which provides context, examples and
reporting requirements for child support deductions using the new Child Support fields on both the parent and child records. Access
this through Online services for DSPs.
