Over the past few months DSPANZ has hosted a Data Minimisation and Retention Focus Group to work through what industry
best practice for
retaining and deleting customer data should look like for DSPs. We’ve now published the draft best practice guidance document for
public feedback and submissions.

submissions on both the Digital ID Bill and Rules which
closes at 5pm today! We’re currently drafting our submission on the
Accreditation Rules. Members can find more information on how to provide feedback on the forum.

The Department of Treasury has just released the consultation paper on the policy and legislative design of the Security Australians’
Superannuation package from the 2023-24 Budget. We’ll be sharing information to members shortly on how to get involved in our
response. Submissions close on 3 November 2023.
