MBIE has released New
Zealand's AI Strategy: Investing with Confidence
and the accompanying Responsible
Artificial Intelligence Guidance for Businesses.
The AI Strategy outlines the government's commitment to creating an environment where New Zealand businesses can adopt and innovate
with AI technologies and confidence. The guidance document is a voluntary resource to help businesses realise AI's
benefits through

Inland Revenue has completed a post-implementation review of the increased disclosure requirements that were introduced in December
2020 for trustees for the 2021-22 and later income years. Head to Inland

The New Zealand and Australian Peppol Authorities, together with DSPANZ, have released an
updated version of the Invoice Content Industry Practice Statement.
The updated industry practice statement reflects changes to the priority ratings for some invoice fields to support

Inland Revenue is in the
process of making two-step verification (2SV) compulsory for all myIR users by 5 October 2025. This change is
planned to take effect on various dates for different customer groups, noting that 2SV is already compulsory for tax agents,
