What is CDR and how does it affect business in Australia?
Live Webinar on Thursday 25 March 2021 at 11.00am - 11.40am (AEDT)
CDR, the Consumer Data Right, is a Federal Government initiative designed to enable consumers
to access data held about them in a range of sectors, starting with Banking and Energy.
The vision is economy wide data sharing. With that in mind, this webinar focused on the CDR, what it is currently, how business can
benefit from the data that is now available and what the requirements and issues are with accessing that data.
The webinar looked at future proofing your business with CDR and consent driven data sharing (under the Privacy Act) in mind. How will this
affect other sectors like HR/Payroll and superannuation will be discussed. A good rule of thumb: If access to the data would make life
easier for Australians, then probably, at some point, your sector will be designated under CDR.
