Charles Gillman

With 20 years experience in Information Security, Charles is a seasoned expert in security consulting, ethical hacking, cybercrime research, security architecture, security operations, and security leadership.

Charles has a long track record in building and leading Information Security teams at two of Australia's major banks, along with experience in Chief Information Security Officer roles in the Financial Services, Cloud & Managed Services spaces. Charles has with a comprehensive understanding of the current security landscape and the ability to implement practical solutions to address threats faced by organisations.Cards are a place for small groups of content.

Ian Simpson

An experienced and business orientated security professional with 23 years in information technology, including more than 20 years in security related roles, Ian recognises the need for security controls and frameworks to be implemented in a pragmatic fashion, contextually aligned to an organisation’s strategy, operating model and threat environment.

An excellent problem solver, communicator, presenter andpeople leader, Ian strives for excellence whilst being cognisant of the fact that the path to great requires a structured and defined pathway of continuous improvement.

As a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), Ian holds both the CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certifications. Additionally, Ian holds a Master of Information Systems Security and is certified as a Lead Auditor in ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
