Working for Families Consultation

Working for Families Consultation

The New Zealand Government is consulting on a set of proposals for improving Working for Families. The proposals included in the discussion document aim to ensure that Working for Families is more accurate and that people receive what they are entitled to. One of the main proposals is to improve the way Working for Families entitlements are calculated. This proposal would involve switching from asking people to estimate their income for the year ahead to calculating entitlements by using actual income earned over a shorter period. Read more in the discussion document and provide your feedback by 3 July.
