Paid Family & Domestic Violence Leave for DSPs

As the 2023 President, I’d like to wish all of our members and community a happy new year. We’re anticipating 2023 to be another jam-packed year for DSPANZ as we expand our membership and work in Aotearoa New Zealand while continuing to provide value to our members in Australia.

I look forward to working closely with you all and our partners in government through the ATO Strategic Working Group, NZ IRD Digital Advisory Group and DEWR’s RegTech Award Compliance Strategic Working Group across the year.

The pace of digitalisation is rapidly accelerating in both Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Both tax agencies have ambitious roadmaps to transform their digital ecosystems through new APIs, new services and new interactions.

As an industry association, we will continue to focus on enabling good commercial outcomes for developers and fostering standards based, consistent approaches to API design and service delivery.

If you are ever interested in knowing more about DSPANZ or working with us, please reach out to myself, our Directors or simply email hello@dspanz.org.

Matthew Prouse, DSPANZ President.

Director ID
All directors of Australian companies must apply for a director ID - a unique identifier that you apply for once and keep forever. If you became a director before 31 October 2021, you were required to apply for a director ID by 30 November 2022. If you missed the deadline, you must apply for your director ID as soon as possible, as it is a criminal offence not to apply when required to do so. A reasonable approach will be taken with directors who are trying to do the right thing. Penalties may apply for directors who have deliberately not met their obligation. Apply for your director ID at abrs.gov.au/directorID.
