It has been a busy month at ABSIA and as we begin to wrap up on 2020, there are few items we would like to share with members to keep you up to date with current ABSIA activities and news as well as industry news. 

AGM Outcomes
ABSIA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Wednesday 28 October. As a result, we wish welcome new Directors Andrew Stirling, Ann White, Chris Denney, Emma Dobson and Sreeni Pillamarri and congratulate our new 2021 President, Simon Foster, and Vice President, Matthew Prouse. Open Submissions
ABSIA is currently preparing responses to the below consultations. If you are looking to provide input into these submissions, please follow the links to find more information about each submission on ABSIA's Forum. 


EOI for Digital Service Provider Strategic Working Group (SWG)
The SWG gives the ATO the opportunity to actively engage in conversations with DSPs and share the ATO's strategic direction. It also allows them to identify issues and address feedback to shape and manage the ATO's future partnership with the industry. They are seeking a diverse group of members who represent a range of market segments, perspectives and different sized firms to join the SWG for 12 months. Complete an EOI ticket in Online Services for DSPs by 5.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 4 December 2020 to register your interest. 


EOI for Digital Service Provider Architecture Reference Group (DARG)
The ATO are also seeking expressions of interest from DSPs to join the DARG in 2021. Members will be from different sized firms, to bring unique perspectives and represent a variety of market segments. Membership will be for a 2-year period and will give you the opportunity to actively engage in conversations which shape the ATO's technical strategic direction. To apply, read more about what membership involves and then submit an EOI ticket in Online Services for DSPs by 5.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 4 December 2020
