Brief Background:
 I am an information technology and management professional with more than 18 years of experience in technology and media sector. I did work on various roles like project manager, CIO and CEO of different corporates. 

I have done my master's degree in information systems & technology and bachelor's in computer engineering.

Who do you work for and what do you do in that role?
I'm a small business owner. My company Softlabs ANZ Pty Limited, based in Parramatta, is a leading information technology consulting and business software solution provider for the aged care, manufacturing, healthcare and Government sectors.


How did you get involved with DSPANZ?
I was looking for an organisation which supports IT Business locally in ANZ, I was able to find one and this was a perfect fit for me to get involved and support the business community. Thanks to Simon for seeing some spark in me and getting me involved on the Board. I have been with DSPANZ for over 2 years.
 

What keeps you busy outside of your day job and DSPANZ?
I am an active community representative, I volunteer my time with NSW SES (State Emergency Services), Local Sports Club (WPHCCC - West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Cricket Club), Hornsby Chamber of Commer and last but not least with my Friends & Family.


What is the best career advice that you wish to share with others?
Think big, be focused and remember to be on budget on time for every project you do with a set exit criteria.

What excites you about working in the software industry?
Innovation.

What is the one piece of technology that you wish existed?
Human Nature to be transformed to Human Technology.

What is a book, movie, tv show or podcast that you would recommend?
Book:
"Who Moved My Cheese"
Movie: Any time of the day or night I love watching James Bond & Harry Potter Movies.
TV Show: Weakest link, Charmed & ABC DRUM


If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
SYDNEY.

Baked Beans with Nachos should be with spicy vegetables and cheese.
